 data accelerates, so has the culture of data-driven digital transformation.
  Our ability to leverage data effectively, though, has not. With the r
 ise of trends like machine learning, predictive analytics, and the move to 
 the cloud, we often see ad hoc data solutions created to address these in-t
 he-moment trends, but they are not reusable or scalable. The problem is tha
 t this tooling is ill-equipped to cope with the new reality of the enterpri
 se data landscape, as typical solutions like relational databases, warehous
 es, and data lakes encourage data sprawl and duplication of data. What thes
 e approaches have also left us with is a landscape where many data-driven p
 rojects, such as Customer 360, are failures. And in a world where the diffe
 rence between success and failure is how well you leverage your data, that
